Lori Hull-Grommesh DNP APRN ACNP-BC CCRN NEA-BC has 20 plus years of professional experience as an acute care nurse practitioner. She earned her BSN and MSN at Wichita State University and was in the first Doctor of Nursing Practice class to graduate in 2009 from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX. She currently is the director of the Graduate Nurse Education Demonstration for Memorial Hermann Hospital. Prior to this she was the director of the advanced practice group at the Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center. She has focused much of her work on the field of cardiology, working as an acute care nurse practitioner for private physicians and Memorial Hermann. She has had publications and speaking engagements focusing on nurse practitioner billing, women and heart failure, and general clinical cardiology issues. Besides the publications, she is actively involved in research and quality improvements projects to help meet the mission and vision of Memorial Hermann. She is an executive member of the Advanced Practice Leadership council and actively seeks to educate and provide support for nurse practitioners. In her spare time she enjoys time with her daughter playing softball.
