Nancy Roberto is the Clinical Director for Advanced Practice at Cincinnati Children’s in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her previous APRN roles with Cincinnati Children’s were as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in the NICU and as team leader for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in the NICU and High Risk Follow-Up Clinic. Her previous registered nurse roles at Cincinnati Children’s were NICU and Neonatal and Pediatric Transport nursing, as well as ECMO Perfusionist RN role in the NICU, PICU, and CICU.
Nancy has developed the Advanced Practice Program at Cincinnati Children’s and frequently consults with other hospitals in the Cincinnati region on APP Program development. Her current field of interest is in developing innovative APP models of care delivery and in APP workforce strategic planning.
Nancy is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of Neonatal Nurses, the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses, the Council for Ohio Health Care Advocacy, Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Midwives, Ohio Association of Physician Assistants and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.
Nancy completed her MSN (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program) and BSN at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing and Health. She is board certified as a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP-BC). Nancy has a strong interest in community service and has volunteered in the community as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for ProKids and has recently served as a teen youth mentor through Goodwill Youth Services. She enjoys music and is currently lead vocalist in several musical bands, donating musical services for non-profit organizations such as the March of Dimes and United Way. She enjoys cycling, hiking, and swimming in the great outdoors.
