Postgraduate Physician Assistant Fellowship in EM
University of Missouri Health Care and the MU School of Medicine are the first in Missouri to offer an intense and rewarding postgraduate Physician Assistant Fellowship in Emergency Medicine. As part of an academic medical center, MU Health Care is no stranger to offering continuing medical education through physician fellowships. In 2015, MU Health Care became the first in Missouri to offer continuing medical education for physician assistants interested in Emergency Medicine. Joining other physician assistant fellowship programs within the hospital, the Emergency Medicine fellowship combines rigorous didactics with clinical experiences preparing graduates for a successful career in EM.
After graduation, fellows receive a certificate of completion and are well on their way to being prepared for the NCCPA Certification of Added Qualification in Emergency Medicine. Physician assistants in the Emergency Fellowship Program will work with and under the supervision of emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgical and critical care physician assistants, and physicians.
