The Georgia CNS will:

• promote the full scope of practice of the clinical nurse specialist;
• serve as the national leader for clinical nurse specialist education;
• promote the benefit the clinical nurse specialist brings to evidenced-based quality care, patient safety, and cost of savings in healthcare delivery; and
• promote research that evaluates the efficacy and value of clinical nurse specialist interventions and practice.
