Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants
The Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants was founded in 1975 and serves as the official representative voice for the Physician Assistants in Kansas and is a Constituent Organization of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
KAPA’s purpose is to enhance the quality of medical care of the citizens of Kansas by promoting the profession and providing medical education resources to Physician Assistants, other health professionals, the legislative and governing bodies and to the public. In Kansas, there are more than 1,000 Physician Assistants licensed by the State Board of Healing Arts.
KAPA accomplishes this by promoting quality, cost-effective, and accessible health care, and by supporting the professional and personal development of physician assistants.
