PAHE serves as a resource for information on racial and cultural health care disparities
and health inequities. We are dedicated to decreasing disparities in health outcomes and
the improvement of health care; to highlighting and discussing the role of bias and
stereotyping in unequal treatment of patients; and to developing strategies to increase
awareness of health disparities among PAs and other providers. PAHE will do this by
forming partnerships with and supporting committees, councils, board members, staff,
partner organizations, other leaders, and individual members of the AAPA interested in
enhancing the equitable care of all patients.
